The Green Home Advantage, LLC (TGHA) provides home plans energy consulting for those who plan to build a home. The ideal time to begin is in the concept phase when you still have maximum flexibility to consider a wide range of energy-efficient options suitable for our hot-humid climate in northern Louisiana. As the planning progresses, TGHA uses specially-designed software to build a computer model of your house plans. We then manipulate this model to find the most cost-effective adjustments to minimize future energy bills.

The actual performance of a home is highly dependent on the workmanship and attention to detail of the tradesmen involved.  To verify the quality of the craftsmanship a Rating is essential.  RESNET provides the HERS index score and Energy Star provides a label by the same name.  These organizations require inspection and testing to ensure the completed product performs as desired.
