The Commercial HERO program is closed to new applicants as of 8/30/2011.  If your property had funds allocated prior to or on this date, you MAY be eligible for a rebate.  Please call your HERO auditor for verification.

The State of Louisiana has instituted a program to incentivize the energy retrofit of commercial buildings.  This incentive is in the form of a rebate up to $5000 for those buildings that realize at least a 10% reduction in annual energy consumption.  In many cases, this requirement can be obtained through lighting upgrades alone.
